Dreaming of a Smoky Mountain elopement with classic chapel charm? Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is the perfect gateway, nestled alongside the Great Smoky Mountains. These quaint chapels offer intimate, memorable ceremonies surrounded by awe‑inspiring natural beauty, with downtown Gatlinburg and forested glens providing the ideal backdrop. Let’s dive into Gatlinburg Tennessee chapels, as well as how your wedding photography will fit into the timeline!

The Wedding Chapel in the Glades

Located in the tranquil Arts & Crafts Community (Glades Road Loop), this log chapel is beloved for its rustic Gothic windows, candlelit ambiance, stained glass, and a lush “Secret Garden” waterfall setting. Ideal for both elopements and small guest lists, it blends local artistry with serene woodland elegance.

Chapel At The Park

Set amid forest, garden, and waterfall features just off East Parkway, this venue pairs convenience with natural beauty. With fountain-dotted gardens and mountain views, it’s ideal for couples wanting both chapel style and easy access to town amenities. In addition, I personally love how they manicure the grounds while keeping the native trees and shrubs in their true form!

After Your Ceremony At Gatlinburg Tennessee Chapels

Most of my couples who opt to have a chapel wedding in the Smoky Mountains will upgrade their elopement package to one that has more time for photography. I recommend doing this so that we can get more of the iconic pictures of the Smoky Mountains in your gallery. While each chapel has its own unique charm, not all of them have great views of the Smokies. Many are tucked into the woods with lush native plants surrounding them and blocking any views.

My Adventure Elopement package offers two locations with two hours of photography. However, if you would like to add more time onto your elopement, we can always discuss those needs and possibly create a custom package. For more information on my Gatlinburg elopement packages visit my site here!
