Nicole and Jared’s wedding at Honeysuckle Hills was truly magical, and capturing their special day was such a joy! Let’s take a closer look at what made their wedding so beautiful. Honeysuckle Hills Wedding Venue
Located just outside Gatlinburg, near the Pigeon Forge area, Honeysuckle Hills is an enchanting venue with a rich history spanning over a century. Owned by a wonderful couple, this estate is the epitome of Southern charm. With its scenic pastures, lush greenery, and serene lily pond, the venue offers countless breathtaking backdrops for a romantic elopement. Plus, with its cozy bridal suite and thoughtfully designed spaces, it’s a dream location for couples looking to tie the knot in the heart of the mountains.

Meet Nicole & Jared
Nicole and Jared’s love story is straight out of a romance novel! They met through mutual friends in the most unexpected way. Nicole was helping out with babysitting upstairs, while Jared the general contractor was downstairs working on a basement renovation. Jared happened to be roommates with the boyfriend of Nicole’s friend, which led to him taking on the remodeling job. The moment he came upstairs and saw Nicole, he knew he had to get her number! Later that week, their friends played matchmaker, and the rest is history!
Wedding Style & Aesthetic
Nicole and Jared’s wedding is the perfect example of how an elopement can still have a beautiful, cohesive style. Nicole envisioned warm, earthy tones with bohemian elements, and they absolutely nailed it! Their daughter wore a stunning burgundy bridesmaid dress that matched Jared’s vest perfectly. The floral arrangements featured deep burgundies, warm oranges, and golden yellows, tying together the boho-inspired aesthetic in the most stunning way. It’s incredible how small details can make an elopement feel both intimate and stylish!
Including Their Furry Friends
One of the sweetest aspects of their wedding was how they incorporated their dogs into the celebration. Rather than traditional pet attire, Nicole and Jared chose wooden wreath collars adorned with lush boho florals for their pups. This creative touch not only complemented their wedding style but also added a unique and memorable element to their day.
A Picturesque Ceremony
Honeysuckle Hills offers an array of gorgeous ceremony spots, from a charming pavilion to picturesque bridges and open fields. For their vows, Nicole and Jared chose one of my favorite locations—a quiet lawn backed by a sprawling field with mountain views. This setting perfectly captured the essence of the Smoky Mountains and created an intimate, romantic atmosphere for their ceremony.
Capturing The Love
When Nicole first filled out their wedding questionnaire, she mentioned that Jared was a bit more reserved and not one for overly romantic photos. But you’d never guess it from their bridal portraits! My goal as a Gatlinburg photographer is always to create a space where couples feel comfortable and free to express their love authentically. Watching Jared and Nicole embrace each other so naturally made my heart melt! I am absolutely obsessed with the moments we captured!
